I had it done about two years ago, it's worth every penny (2999) ~ 20/15.

Also considering this procedure for sometime in December. Blur, what was your correction before the surgery? My eye sight is pretty bad, -5.50 in both eyes.

I had Lasik done a little over 3 years ago. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. I almost forgot what a pain having to wear glasses was. There is nothing like waking up in the morning and being able to see the clock from across the room. Or watching TV in bed at night and not having to worry about bending your glasses up if you fall asleep. I see better now than I did before when I had my glasses on. If you are pondering this procedure, trust me it is worth it. It is a very quick procedure to have done and I don't remember any pain. I had mine done near the end of the day and went home and went straight to bed. I woke up the next morning with perfect vision. They gave me these plastic eye guards to wear every night for a week while sleeping but that was the worst part of it and that was nothing really. I'm so glad I had it done...
