I disagree, If anybody in this movie is the same dude from every other movie they have ever done then I am giving Tyrese Gibson a big fat nomination. Every movie I see him in, I see the same dude from fast and the furious and it flat drives me nuts!

Both are correct. But hey, Jeff Foxxworthy was a one trick pony and it worked. Chris Tucker is the same way.

The role for the movie called for these types of people and the casting director hit it perfectly. I wish Sam's was a little less pathetic, but since the first one took that direction, he followed up well.

Tyrese's role is just easy to play. He's a singer, not an actor, unless it's this type of role.

If that's not enough of a ..... killer, I don't know what is. I have to agree, she has a nice body & a pretty face, she's just not THAT hot. Eve Laurence is HOT, she's got everything Megan has & everything Megan is lacking. Isn't grossed out by guys either.

Just like how we of that general age hold the original Star Wars movies as excellent movies. If you go back and watch them today (Empire aside), they're not that much better than the new trilogy. Just because we thought it was good as a kid doesn't mean it was good in the long run...
I 100% completely disagree with you. I have shown the original Star Wars trilogy in my home theater to many friends and children for the first time in the last couple of years and all of them became instant fans and wanted to see more. Nobody complained about dated anything..As for the Transformers cartoon, and all cartoons of that era, they were all hand drawn which give them a dated look. However all kids 10 and under will watch and fall in love with the series just the same just as we did.. The problem is nowadays there are so many re-iterations of the same show so the kids get confused when they watch G1 Optimus vs G2 G3 and G4 Optimus which are all self contained storyline of the same character each with a different beginning and end.. Very simplistic cartoons like He-Man in the 80's was loved by us as kids (if you are around 30 years old now) that had heroic storylines and so forth with a positive message in the end. Kids today relate to that as well when shown and fall in love with the character and series as well. Even a movie as dated as Clash of the Titans with Harry Hamlin will be amazing to a kid, but to adult teenagers have a harder time with that due to really old special effects. However Star Wars holds up very well, especially the ones that have been restored digitally. I just got done watching the original Ghostbusters on Blu-ray with a 5, 6 and 8 year old for the first time and a 30 year old adult who never had seen it before.. They all loved it like you would not believe.. All of them jumped out of their seats at the beginning library scene..And all of them laughed throughout the movie.. Ultimately if you thought G1 was painful to watch, you are probably in the minority on that one being a fan when you were a kid..

I just got out of it. What a pathetic crock of crap it was. I get that i'm going to see a summer blockbuster but it was terrible. I'm actually upset that I took my car out of the garage for it.

Action scenes are awesome. College full of hot chicks not so believable. Devastator walking on for legs disappointing(should've had a better entry for it). Lose the pubic side kick room mate. All in all, good movie(rate it 8).

..now where/when are the Dinobots coming?

BTW..no GM camaro-mercial..

Dinobots at the beginning fighting the ancient human tribe would have been cool.. Well, anything different would have been better than the storyline we got..
