Boy I sure do miss that. Now the only time they get excited is when it's the pizza guy at the door.

When I grabbed a screwdriver to fix a door, and my almost-3-yr-old grabbed his toy screwdriver and said " I help you daddy?" BIG SMILE! "Of course you can buddy!"

I know my story doesn't really compare with any of the ones above but I was out driving on Sunday and I pulled up to a stop light and saw a guy in a Camaro with a Mullet, honestly it was the first time I have ever seen that and I tried to not laugh since that was the first time the I have seen the "stereotypical Camaro owner".

Great thread, im young cant (but can) wait to have kids. Im only 22, hoping to pick up a Camaro shell to keep aside to have a project to work on with my child. But I think instead, my camaro will be the project car and will be my first borns car, boy or girl

You know, for you fathers and mothers, I sure hope your kids read this thread. Your responses in here are touching, and no matter how much you guys tell your kids you love them, its these messages you go telling friends and family that really touches the heart

Watching Louisville Cardinals win the Big East basketball tournament with my wife and UofL being #1 overall for NCAA March Madness.

Getting too old to do a shot EVERYtime they make a "3" in a game but i"m still good for at least everyother "3"

Great thread. We need more positive.

Here is what made me smile. I was on a Staycation last week, so it was a great.

First, I completed 150 mile and 90 mile rides on my road bike. I am competing in a Marathon Cycling Challenge and these rides broke me into the top 30 world wide in the competition.

Second, I dedicated a lot of time to working on my 54 Chevy 3100 Pickup. I pulled the old bed off, put a new one on, installed a Vintage Air A/C system, converted the engine to PCV rather than 2 breathers, painted the frame and started the body work. All of this with my 17 year old son. Every day we spent working on it. This is time I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Going to drive on the beach and turning off all the nanies... Spinning around in the car was such a blast I didn't want to leave. If not for being there for other reasons, I could have used a whole tank of gas just throwing the car around.

Even better, I did not get stuck.
