I'd take a Z06 any day. It just seems like more of a "real" car to me. Like a million people before me have said, the GT-R is like driving a PS3. Yes it may be faster under some conditions, but it's because the Vette driver in the comparison test is not a Vette expert - it's a person doing a test.

Part of the enjoyment of a car is learning to become an expert at it. When you beat a GT-R, it's because you've become an expert driver. When you're in a GT-R, you can't escape the fact that you're only winning because a Japanese computer engineer figured it out for you. That's like getting a porn star to have sex on your behalf.

GT-Rs put the V6 / V8 debate to rest.... It's got a V6 in it and is one of the fastest cars in the world.... And yes I met a kid who owned a TT Gallardo and he had a GT-R and he said he liked his GT-R way more

Anyone who says driving a GT-R is like driving a PS3 must have a badass PS3. My PlayStation never once pushed me into the back of my couch and made me stutter through a string of expletives. My best friend, and former roommate, owns an original 2009, before the power and transmission upgrades, and it's a beautiful machine to drive.

Comparing any Chevy to the GT-R is impossible, given the different power plant and drive set-ups. I Iove my SS, and that's why I bought it. But I bought it knowing it was rear-wheel drive, and not AWD, and I don't pretend any different. From a standing start, my buddies GT-R takes me every time. But in a rolling start, once we're in third gear and I can grip the road, we're dead even (thanks to a fully forged 418ci LS3). And he has respect for my car because of the sound, smell, and I've never seen a V6 make a car rock back and forth at idle, no matter how many turbos it has.

I love my Chevy, because it's mine. I respect the GT-R because it's a performer, and full of astounding engineering. Nissan underrated it so it would impress, fanboys will always be fanboys, and life will go on.
