Before I bought Caroline, I test drove a 2013 GT and a 2011 V6 Premium. The '13 reminded me of a Focus that I once had as a rental with uncomfortable cloth seats and cheap plastic dash. The '11 was better, but the leather seats were much less "premium" feeling than my Subie's. That said, I almost bought the '11 due to the pretty red paint, smaller size, purr of the engine idling, and oh yeah, the ridiculously low price (listed $12K less).

But sense won out, and I bought the SS.

Sure I'm biased, but the Mustang has a much better interior than the Camaro by far IMO.

Mustang interior looks very late 80's/early 90's to me. Very blocky and blah. Too each their own though....competition between the manufacturers is good for all of us.

The Mustangs interior is a much higher quality, but I can see the stylistic point of view. I can see parts of my GT500 interior that are stylistically driven by my uncles 2001 Cobra. Consider the Mustang like the Corvette its a lot more evolution over revolution oriented.

I look at a Mustang and I can instantly tell its aMustang, I look at a Corvette I can instantly tell it's a Corvette.

If you look at a Camaro you know it's a Camaro because it's Always been about revolution over evolution of the Camaro styling.

Just like the Corvette the Mustang has had the same overall style since the 90s.

That's just my two cents.

In my opinion Ford hit a homerun with the styling for the retro Mustang, Where is the Camaro looks too modern to be a retro throwback. I can see a lot in the new Camaro that is based off of the old Camaro, but when you put the two next to each other you can tell there's enough differences between them for it to be too modern to be a true retro throwback.

Where I'm going with this is that the Mustangs interior is styled to look like the old Mustang to a T.
