Rhyder...I understand what you're saying about the cost of "fixing" up an animal, but doesn't Toby deserve better? If he was adopted into a home and kept indoors, he could live another 6, 8, maybe 10yrs. I was thinking about this story last night and something clicked about the broken leg and jaw. Someone had to call Toby closer to them so they could kick, or hit him enough to fracture the body part. Here is a trusting cat, being tricked, and then injured. And you mentioned people being abused....such as children? Another group of low life P.O.S. that I despise! Garbage that prey on the weak! My personal feeling about how I react to stories like this......its picking on a living creature that can't run away and tell someone "I was hit", or "I was kicked", or "I was set on fire". I'm not trying to bust your balls Rhyder. I did cringe when you said "how much money are they wasting on this cat". I'll go out on a limb and say this little guy did nothing to those that treated him so badly. You agreed that animals shouldn't be treated like that, so doesn't he deserve some respite from the pain? The article said that the surgeries would be covered from funds from the Guardian Angel fund so its all through donations. |
