Well we sure are lucky the camaro's never had transmission issues aren't we?
Oh, have you checked out the warranty section here on camaro5 by any chance?

Are you referring to the output shafts on the early 2010s? The same problem that GM corrected...?

Before you go off all half-****ed as usual, let me point out that NOBODY makes upgraded or performance parts for the MT-82 manual trans in the mustangs. Not even ford. They just replace them with the same type of part that was broke in the trans to start with and hope that you get out of warranty before you break it again.

On the other hand, just about every other performance transmission shop out there can rebuild and upgrade the tr6060. And they are actually making them better, not just reusing the same parts they took out to rebuild it. And most of those performance built transmissions will come with some sort of warranty or guarantee.

I know because I've been there and already done that. If you don't know about it please dont make snide comments.

Give it time, the TR606 has been around for a while and covers a number of different models from different makes. The point is they are not without their faults, read not here but Challenger, Corvette, and GT500 forums, they have their issues...........

Your post sounded like you were saying that the camaro tranny never had issues.
(which is obviously not correct) that's all, no need to write a book or get mad.

All manufacturers have issues with mass produced cars.

I understand that they have issues. But the Tremec can be fixed. The MT-82 can't. That's what I'm saying. And I'm far from mad. Just seen Bias post up quite a few times with unsupported opinions when he should be providing facts. That's all.

3470 lbs is light ? Hahaha.... My 4wd Jeep Cherokee weighs 3412 lbs. It has a cast iron 600 lb straight 6 engine block and dana 44 and a heavy np231 transfer case and 33 inch Goodyear Duratracs. The 5.0 is within a sandbag of the 4 door family sedan in my screen name.

I wonder if the 2013 is any lighter. Quick someone go buy this one and weigh it.

I had an issue at 4000 miles and it was fixed. I'm at 13k now with no issues at all. You are right, they do just use the same parts.

So no matter who weighs it, it will always be what the ford spec sheet said it would?
That's gotta be some kind of magic sorcery!
