Um, take a second look at the graphic.

They are comparing the 6-Series, SLK and Z4 to the CORVETTE

And do you realize that if they took the CR-Z and Veloster OUT of the comparison, the Camaro Sales Share would actually INCREASE?

Hes a super fanboy, it's so bad he won't say 1 positive thing about any other manufacturer, even other American ones. It's honestly pretty annoying.

Kind of like certain other people constantly need to make smart, or critical remarks about a certain new super-Camaro?

As my dear 'ole Dad used to say (actually, he still does):

"When you become perfect, like me, then you can make fun of other people."

Yes we can.

Better than making allowable bashing threads
Smart and critical remarks sounds pretty good compared to straight bashing

I don't care if it made the sales seem to increase, but the very nature of picking out those certain cars compared to a Camaro is ridiculous. Hell, IMHO it's disrespectful to the Camaro to compare to a Veloster or CR-Z.

Here are the real facts.
1) 70% of people on Camaro5 cannot afford or will ever own a ZR1 or ZL1.
2) 98% who purchase the ZL1 or ZR1 will never take it to the track. (Probably wouldn't even leave the garage)
3. For the 2% who do take it on a track, it will be a Drag strip and not a Road track.
4. Only fan boys care more about car sales than performance.
5. I wish I could afford a ZR1.

I would say...

) 90% of people on Camaro5 cannot afford or will ever own a ZR1 or ZL1. Keep in mind, while there are a lot where who are truly Camaro enthusiasts, on this forum, there are just as many who bought in to the "Transformers" fad and not really in a position to buy a ZL1 or ZR1. Nothing wrong with that as some of those guys will stay on a Camaro enthusiasts. We all started somewhere somehow someway.
2) 95% who purchase the ZL1 or ZR1 will never take it to the track. (Probably wouldn't even leave the garage)
3. For the 2% who do take it on a track, it will be a Drag strip and not a Road track. Depends where you live. Of the 5 people I know who will be getting a ZL1, including me, will use it in a RoadCourse and use out GT500s for drag strip use.4. Only fan boys care more about car sales than performance. I couldn't agree more.
5. I wish I could afford a ZR1.[/QUOTE] Maybe not now.

Is it possible to see all the empirical data supporting these statistical claims regarding the population of Camaro5.com?

So does this mean that at Mustang sites we will soon hear them all saying "I love my Mustang, you don't see them everywhere!!"? Cause if it does, that would be awesome.
