I've heard the term "hooptie" used as being similar to "winter beater." A daily driver car usually so you can keep a garage queen in good shape for nice weather/weekend car.

VMR 701's, 19x9.5 ET45 all the way around, 275/30-19 Yokohama Advan AD08 tires. I originally bought the wheels in a powdercoat black, which wasn't to my liking at all, so what you are seeing here is PVD black chrome. I had them redone last year and they are exactly what I wanted!

It's also lowered quite a bit, keep that in mind.
