I would buy one of these...I was bummed when Pontiac G8 Sport Truck was nixed...they come with the LS3 and 6 speed..

I saw the car you are talking about a few years ago and I believe it was on the Pontiac website back when they were still making cars. The one I saw was the front end of a G8 with a pickup bed attached. It looked a hell of a lot better than the GTO/Holden version the Aussies have.

eh... my prediction is IF that thing makes it's way to the us, it'll sell big the first year or two because of all the nostalgia before going the way of the subaru baja (which in my opinion looked much better. pic related).

In case you prefer a sedan here is my favorite pic from my recent trip down under. Commodore HSV GTS with modified LS3 pushing close to 500 ponies and in my favorite color.
