Theres a GT-R here at our work garage. looks pretty sick. And like others have said, only an enthusiast will recognize a ZR1 vs Z06 or GS. I too wish there were more changes to the ZR1 design but i'd still pick it over the GT-R.
Oops, my bad. Don't know how to read. But I stand by my argument with most people can't tell the difference.

zr1 only because i am a Chevy girl.I have driven the zr1 and was dissapointed in the difference it has from my z06. It rides the same, interior is exact other than knob on console and headrest stitching. I can tell the clutch, rear end and supercharger differences but i would never waste my money on one. I like my z06 just fine. I can't even tell the brakes are any different. Hopefully they do more dramatic changes on the c7 for it.

ZR1 most definitely. Typically I have no respect for japanese cars, but the GTR is an exception. Nissan really packed a lot into a less than $100,000 car. With that said, the ZR1 is just raw power is by far the meanest looking car I have ever seen…PERIOD

ZR1 would be more fun but you'd get more looks in the GTR and its way easier to make the GTR fast and drive it fast. Really depends on what you are looking for.

Wow... Tough call. The interior on the C6 sucks... I had one... The interior in the GT-R is awesome inside!

Exterior, the ZR1 may have it.

I really can't answer because I don't know. Both are sweet.

Agreed but you forgot the fun factor, which would definitely go to the ZR1. So if anything I think its a tie and personal taste is really the only difference. Cant go wrong either way...

The ZR1 is a monster, but for the price diff you can do a lot of cool stuff to a GT-R. I think the GT-R would easily remain the more usable car as well, probably more than just a duffel bag fits in the trunk/rear. The ZR1 is what I'd want for ludicrous speed.

If you got the cash, the money to fix it, the contacts to acquire the damn thing, and a mechanic in the area certified to work on it then I would say GTR.

But if you actually plan on driving the thing, I would have to say ZR1 all week long and twice on sunday.

I agree with the fun factor part. I cant see what would be more fun then leaving a ZR1 or pretty much any other vehicle your run into at a red light. Nothing like mashing the gas and the car just takes flight!!

Yea burnouts, donuts, and the occasional drift are super fun but im a die hard racer and nothing sucks more than losing a race and losing it badly. lol

Completely unbiased opinion here, but I would pick the ZR1 because it is a much sexier car imo. The GTR is a nice car is VERY capable but it just doesn't look like a "sports car". Also I don't like driving automatics so the ZR1 has me there. I find driving standard transmissions much more engaging even though automatics are faster this day and age.

The only thing I don't like about the dual clutch transmissions with the paddle shifter is that you can't skip gears. You have to go in order. There's no dropping from 4th to 2nd. Other than that, I have to say that I prefer them over a regular manual now especially when driven in traffic.
