Good. She'll love the 2010 Mustang even more. I've heard good things about the car. Better handling, more compliant, and more mature car than the '08 and '09 Stangs.

She has since gotten her license and driven the 3 more than me (I still drive my 95 Camaro), she has picked up a few things she doesn't like though. So she started looking at various info on the net and has decided she wants to consider a Mustang.

She is gonna go test drive one today. I don't object to the Mustang even though it isn't what I want . To anyone out there who has owned an 08 or 09 Mustang, what kind of things should I be on the lookout for? We would only be getting a V6 for her as she wouldn't utilize the power and she would prefer the 6 anyways (so she says)
Might be easier to get a new wife>

Tell her to trade in the mazda and buy it with her money,

You trade in your old camaro and buy a new one with your money.

Or am I the only married guy that does not have a joint bank account? (As in my money is mine, hers is hers)

Having driven the 2010 GT, I can definitely say that it is both a fun car and a more refined car, but it is certainly not a cheap car. The one I drove was optioned out to around $33k, with the premium interior and driver information center. In a Camaro, that's 2LT trim, equipment and power levels for several thousand more. However, you wife does not want a Camaro.

A 2008 or 2009 left on the lots at this point will be a much cheaper proposition, and despite the improvements and refinements, it is hard to justify the price difference.

Have her drive one anyway and see what she thinks.

Mustangs are chick cars anyway. I have a friend who this morning on her way to work was telling me all about it and how the v8 chilled her bones...blah blah blah....she owns or used to own a Cam V6 00 so I can understand her wow factor at the sound of the exhaust and such but I asked her about the new Cams and she said they looked good but hadn't heard one yet....needless to say I have been bonbarding her with what the new ones sound like....I am awaiting her answer...LOL.... In the meantime fountain hang in there...let her get her Stng, you my friend will be turning more heads in your new Cam........

That's cool. At least you will be able to pick up parts for her with your Camaro!

Couldn't resist...sorry. The Mustang is a nice car. Glad it's not a Genesis or a 370Z!
