With enough money, anything is possible. It's long enough for a J-57 jet engine if you don't go with an afterburner.

Not particularly. It's among the best sellers in its segment.

These subcompacts and city cars aren't going to come anywhere near the volume compacts and midsizes sell, so it's easy to call "flop" when in reality, they're selling pretty well for what they are.

Didn't mean to disparage the Sonic at all...Just seemed the cars are so similar that maybe the Sonic would be phased out or something...Not sure why two similar cars are sold to the same "segment".???...I had no idea what the "volume" of sales is....lol...Like I said, had my eye on a Sonic, just curious what the advantages of one over the other is....

Spark is smaller than Sonic. Waaay smaller. It's pretty much Scion iQ/smart fourtwo sized, albeit a bit bigger due to the five door configuration. Plus there are substantial powertrain differences. Sonic will be a much more fun-to-drive car than a Spark.

Basically you have...

Impala - Full size
Malibu - Midsize
Cruze - Compact
Sonic - Subcompact
Spark - City car

Haha let my just say this I am 19, and had the Sonic been out when I got the Camaro I would have been satisfied with either, the sonic is a blast to ride in.
