I'd still take a Z06. More expensive of course, but so much more car. Gotta turn sometime right?

it's an animal. period. and you can watch dvd's on your touch screen or navigate visually while your wheel hopping

btw if your driving in the street so that your wheel hopping all over the place your obviously driving like a maniac... so not a good thing at all.

I love that phrase "needing a supercharger". I guess others should be disappointed that the Camaro SS "needed 376 cubic inches" to get low 13's. GM elected to get their 426hp through displacement and compression ratio, Ford elected to get their 540hp through less displacement and forced induction. Two different ways to get to the same goal, awesome performance right off the showroom floor.

Although it is not mentioned in reviews, I'm pretty sure the Camaro will not be immune to phenomenon either.

Of course, you would. In my experience, however, most people looking at a Camaro, Challenger or Mustang do not cross-shop a Corvette. Unless of course, all they are looking for in a car is two seats and exceptional performance. In that case, the Z06 wins hands down.

I dont understand that at all. Bringing force induction in any form from the factory is a good thing, especially for tuners. All you have to do is turn up the boost for more hp. Plus the engines are typically built tougher. Is that like cheating? Is using a V8 cheating compared to a 6 or 4 cylinder?

I was speaking IMHO .....................i am a NA guy all the way....you can always slap FI on a NA engine whenever....if you want to make the sc engine bigger your gonna have to forge everything again ect ect....

since the previous gen gt500 has seen 12.2 stock, im sure we will see an 11.9 from the 2010. better tires, more hp, less weight, better gearing. no brainer for me.
