I just take my ticket to a lawyer. Pay $50 and the lawyers have a process that basically drags out the court process by scheduling and rescheduling hearing until the LEO doesnt show then bam, dismissed. I've done this with all 6 of my tickets the 1st one from about 2005 was dismissed back in '08 (all have been dismissed already). It takes a while but I'd rather just pay the 50 bucks and have someone else handle it who knows how to, for lack of better words, weasle the system back.

Basically it boils down to the fact that the judges are idiots....?

Florida won't allow you to do that more than once.. if you have legal representation present and the cop is there... why reschedule? FL attorneys generally charge per appearance as well..

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, but I commend you and certainly don't blame you for taking advantage of how gullible other people are.

However I have worked with several different courts and they all vary. There is one judge I know that will not change the ticket unless you can prove to him that it will cost you hardship (as in losing your job).

Pay it and move on. Most insurance companies dont ding you for one violation.
You need to try again... we prefer you don't use logic in this forum.

If we are referring to the common 10 over, non-moving violations, U-turns... what extensive efforts are LEOs doing to "pursue and catch" these individuals? Activating their lights and stopping someone? I imagine cops aren't doing a buck to catch these violators... now certainly you aren't comparing the cop that is perfectly justified in doing 90-100 to catch the clown doing 100+ on the interstate?

Thanks Mulletman...I dont know any hookers and I love my husband, but not enough to do THAT. He'll have to take care of that one himself LOL

We got a lawyer. we called 4 before we found one that would even take it because of the speed involved. We should know something in about 2 weeks.

Lesson learned. This car is fast! Pay close attention when you goose it 'cause it's gonna GO.

I fight every time to try this, never had this happen either. Once had an officer show up via video chat. That was a heartbreak.
