If I see someone with a turn signal on, I'll actually slow down to make extra room just because they're doing the right thing. It's common courtesy before it's the law. In the great words of Peter Russel...."Be a man. Do da right ting!" (in a chinese accent)

Everybody's in such a damn hurry nowadays, for having some courtesy to other drivers. I'll tell ya, up on the Thruways, and Highways, I have to do almost (not quite) 70 to keep from being trampled by trucks and whatnot.

I don't like doing it - but I don't have much of a choice most of the time.

My mom tried to merge on an LA freeway doing 35 like she does here in the yay. My stepdad almost had a heart attack and was screaming at her no joke.

Around here if your not doing 80 you best be prepaired to be passed by just about everyone except Swift trucks their limited to 65 mph

I don't mind being passed, at least I'm abiding by the limit. But it's those trucks. When 3 come up behind you in all three lanes. It's a little intimidating... I've heard multiple reports about traffic speeds, too. "Do the limit.", or "follow everyone elses speed, otherwise your inhibiting traffic flow."

I've given up. I'll do what I think I need to do at the time.
