The joys of being a bartender... access to a selection of over 100 craft brews, 12 taps, that change constantly. Recently it's been Anchor Steam Beer, Kwak, Thomas Creek Up the Creek and Arrogant Bastard. Duvel from a bottle though. We had a special on Sam Adam's Noble Pils that I helped put an end to, haha.

At home, it's Sailor Jerry's and Coke with lime. Non-craft brews - Yuengling or Landshark depending on what flavor I want.

I like Cognac very much. Prefer Remy VSOP. I also like to indulge in wine. Particularly Champagne and Sparkling wine. Sharffenberger is a good value and tastes great. Reisling and Merlot are close second and third. If I'm drinking beer. Tecate' grande para favor.

Regarding cognac, I used to hate it. Then a vendor gave me a bottle of Armenian cognac. I put it on my shelf for almost a year. On the last day I was with my former company, they planned a going away party for me, so I decided it was a great time to get rid of it. I brought it to the party, and low and behold all my Russian colleagues insisted that I drink the cognac with them. Well, I was shocked! That Arnenian cognac was awesome, nothing like anything else I ever tried. Then I later met a cognac connessour who told me that a $100 bottle of Armenian cognac was about the same quality as a $4,000 bottle of French cognac. That explains it. I'd been drinking the Thunderbird of cognacs before - rotgut basically. If you ever get a chance, buy a good bottle of Armenian cognac. You'll love it!

Regarding beer, how do you guys drink that piss water from Mexico?! Grab a good German beer or a Sam Adams!

I too started out as hating cognac but I kept getting hangovers from vodka so I thought I'd try and aquire a taste for cognac and I did. I will definitely buy a bottle of Armenian Cognac and try it. Thanks.

I'm with NavyDood and Ladybugsmom having a "jar" o' potar up (as is said in Ireland) hits the spot perfectly. But it's gotta' be at room temperature. NO self-respecting Irishman would drink a chilled Guinness.

As me sainted father would say, "Slaínte." (It's pronounced "slan cha", by the way)
