Didnt read the article but these "tremac" trannies are no good either. Almost every V6 6MT driver who can shift fast has a 1st to 2nd grind.

IM OAmerican companies need to our sourcing the most important part of the car! The transmission!

I sure wish our V6 shared the same transmission as the SS. Not that the TR6060 is the best thing going but it is has alot less problems than the AY6. It could have a different gear ratio as the Mustang V6 does.

IMO (in my opinion) American companies need to stop out sourcing the most important part of the car.

Whatever transmission a GT500 super snake has (800 hp car) should be the mustang GT transmission.

Even if it raises the price of a GT. Perhaps the dealership will let you pay the difference to have them swap it out.

Is this really that big of a deal? It gets cold, the tranny shifts a little hard. New fluid and or warm weather, or tranny gets warmed up and problem gone.
