How do they make bail?? I don't get it. Don't they finger print these guys and check them out before release?

I got my car trailer stolen a few months back. The cops said they couldn't find it... I slip through the same intersections they had to drive through to get out of the area.... low and behold, I get a ticket because they have cameras on each corner. Cost me $75, but they can't seam to track a friggin 24' monster being towed by a gettomobile.

Good 'ole Atlanta's finest.... NOT!

Don't you think someone would question a $900 vehicle towing a $14,000 trailer?

OK... Who got me started?

It sounds to me that things are the other way about; the crook won the law suit.

Most everybody hates them, thass wass good about 'em as deterrents to theft from your car. The problem arises when the little dude disappears INSIDE the car. He could be anywhere: in the dash, under the seat ready to bite your ass.
¿Quién sabe?
You're better off with insurance that covers the occasional bit o' nastiness from the local vatos.

Wow, I'm glad I live in the middle of Nebraska where there is low crime.

As bad as it may be, we should all have insurance right? Even though there is the deductible, insurance is there to protect us from theft and vandalism.

You can live almost anywhere you want if you chose right.

You just to have NO street parking and NO sidewalks which = very low crime. No way for strangers to poke around and not be noticed.

Head into the city and 2 crackheads pusing a big screen TV down the sidewalk goes unnoticed, no one saw anything.
Because strangers parking n walking all over 24/7 is the norm.

Here's a list of what's happend to our vehicles in Phoenix in 14+ years.
Center caps stolen from my Camaro
Attempted theft of my camaro, steering column torn up
Attempted theft my dad's Blazer, steering column torn up
Car radio stolen
Back taillights broken by big rock
Truck stolen and pushed down the street by 5 illegal aliens (caught by police , let out on bail, never seen again)
Back window of truck shot out by bb gun.
So about every year and a half or so something happens.
low life scum bag bad guys. I just hope that song lyric about Instant Karma getting you is true.
I live in Phoenix also and my two cars got egged in January. Fortunately with the Camaro they missed the pain entirely and I got both cleaned before the egg could settle into the finish. Went out the next day and bought a car cover to deter this kind of stuff. I have pictures of the egging on my profile.

Yeah man, I can see how living out in rural America is brimming over with them good ol' country values.
Problem remains though, what if you've lived in both rural and urban places, and you hella prefer the city's challenging intellectual life, fine resources of buxom women and non-stop excitement?
With all of its weaknesses and crosses to bear, me, I just kvetch, an' go on from there.

Ive always lived around Toledo, you just gotta be a few miles outside city limits to find peace, not the middle of no where. [ thats called bono AKA BFE ]

My parents lived in Phoenix for one year. My mom was at a gas station one morning on the way to work and a man came running up to her car just after she got in it an dtried to get in the passenger side. Her car door wa locked and she thought fast enough to gear the car and drive straight ahead and almost went right into the store front. She was scared to death. The cops came and 'took her statement'. She said she had the distinct feeling that the cop didnt' give a damn. They moved back to Seattle a month later.

Wow. Damn good point. I have no sidewalk and no street parking. It's definitely odd to see someone walking by.
