The car is not convert because the solid roof gives more structure. And I think that's more true to a performance model IMO*.

wow those two guys remind me of Bam margera cutting a hole in the roof of his brand new lambo. IMPO people who do that should be taken out beatin with a stick and have their nice cars taken away and made to drive ugos'

you guys need to do some research before you start bashing people based on an online vid. that vid is old. and the reason they were kicking the top off was that GM used some shitty adhesive for the top panel and after a period of time/heat it would seperate and start flapping as you were driving.

so the two guys in the video were doing the smart and safe thing by removing it on the side of the road rather than keep driving with it flapping in the wind where it could come off at any time and possibly hurt another driver on the road.

Okay, okay. The video doesn't explain that part as to why they are taking it off. All I see is two guys who decided to rip the top off of a corvette on the side of the road. So you figure they either 1, got tired of it being there or 2, your situation. But you would have to admit, if a guy has the money and doesn't care, it is likely that situation 1 could be a possible scenario right I could see it happening...
