BTW, there is a gas guzzler tax on the SRT. I think they are actually one mile per gallon better on the highway than the previous models.

I'm a member of challengertalk and I was complimenting on how great the ZL1 is and many there had a problem with my compliments for the Camaro. I love the SRT, but that ZL1 is going to be amazing. Can't wait to add it to the family!
The 392 is going to be a beast and I'd love to have one parked beside my SS. I love the exterior of the limited inaugural SRT392s, but the seats are just too loud for me.

Ita. Don't like the inaugural edition white seats either.

If they wanted to do white, they should have made the whole seat white. The white with black sides and blue trim is disgusting.

Only the first 1100 392 editionas have those colors on the seats, the regular SRTs will have normal colors

Isn't the interior redesigned for the 2012 Challengers?
Motor trend tested the 3 V6s with the Genesis in auto form and the CHallenger was a whopping 3/10s slower in the 1/4 mile, that is really not enough to disuade most people. Combine that with the 11s better suspension, and the ability to get a true persormance package for the V6. i do agree the lack of a manual transmission is a mistake, then again how many manual v6s are actually sold in the Camaro and Mustang compared to autos.

Now, they're finally putting in great engines. The V6 is due for the Pentastar 3.6 upgrade (if it hasn't already happened) and a 6-speed auto. The interior is/will be revamped. Can't wait to see a new NEW challenger in action
The Challengers interior is actually inspired by the origional. It is actual unique save corporate parts like the stereo and climate control switches. the Dash, center console, seats, etc, etc are unique to the Challenger and looking at Charger and Challenger''s interiors side by side you can tell they are way different. Also when the 09 v6 came out in early 08 the only competition was a Mustang with a 210HP V6 so it WAS competitive. for 10 the Mustang at that same engine and the Camaro was the only one with an updated engine, given it was totally brand new car. Only for the 11 model year did the Mustang get the 300+ hp 3.7 V6 and all 11 Challenger V6s have their the new 305 HP pentastar.

Good answers. Most people don't realize these things and just jump to inane conclusions. Same goes with SRT8 price/options when compared to Mustang GT price/options and Camaro SS price/options...
