NFL off season bashing thread - Page 3

Until the players realize that the owners should make more money then they do, this will drag out. I can see this easily lasting through the OTA's and into camp days. It wouldn't be the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

The issues are more than the owners and players, you've got the agents getting involved too. They don't like the rookie wage scale because it cuts money out of their pockets.

The NFLPA got bent out of shape when the owners wanted to cut $1B off the top of the money pool for themselves. I think its fair for the owners to pull in $30M each for running a business that makes $100's of Billions.

Everyone is butt hurt in this deal. I say scrap the NFL name and call it something else. Keep the team names and owners (except Dean Spanos and Al Davis) and start the league from scratch. Go XFL on the pay scale and watch how quickly the players get inline to get paid. They are way over paid anyway.

The fins REALLY?????????
It will take them another 3yrs to make the playoffs.
And TBH, its the ownership/staff not the players. Once they sell and get rid of the hollywood mindset they will then be a good team.

Jets beat Brady when he was white HOT.
Here's a tidbit for ya, the Jets beat them in overall games played against each other.
bet you didn't know that with all the Pats hype..

They havent won a key game since they got nailed cheating.
The Jets will lose some key players I'm sure but they will make some moves too.
They WILL make the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row!!

and yes, I knew the overall head to head record, also...for the record, they won a divisional playoff game and AFC championship since they got nailed "cheating"

Jet's wont even make it to the playoffs. Jet's have peaked and the best they could do is the AFCC game. Lost both of them. They will start declining now. book it.

The last thing the lions need is to lose draft picks. which they just did. They lost their 7th and have to trade their 5th with the chiefs.

I know they are late rounds, but the lions need all the help they can get.

Mark my words, the RAIDERS will win the AFC West next year but lost in the first round of the playoff to either the Colts, Patriots, Steelers or whatever.

Go Raiders!!! WOOOOOOO... if only Al Davis was not there we'll be even better lol

The AFC west is gonna start to be more competitive without a doubt..but that ^ might be pushin it.

I am worried about the Lions QB getting hurt all the time and hope it is just something that is over and done with but I liked the way Staton got better each game he played so not too worried. They have a good core group now (finally) and only need to truely upgrade a couple areas, as I said, take them lightly and see what they do to you!!!!
