Soo sorry!!!!! I feel your pain My father had his heart attack when he was 51, he survived but with brain damage. My mother had her heart attack when she was 53 two years after my father, she survived but had 10 years of ill health. She passed away April 2010. Death of a parent is very hard, don't be afraid to ask for help and lean on your family and friends.

I am sitting here thinking of a talk I had with my nephew who lost his dad at 13 on 9/11. Hold your father near and dear NEVER forget him and all he was and taught you. Cry when you need to, laugh when you're happy (its ok) be strong for your family. I hope you have an uncle or someone close that you can lean on and will be there for you.
No doubt this is the "worst" day for your young life. But someday, I don't know when, you will have your "Best" day.
Sincere condolences to you and you family.

I'm sorry about your father, and I am praying for strength and comfort for you and your family.

Right now you are in a lot of pain. You will be going through a lot of different emotions over the next several months. The most important help for all of you now is to stay close together and support each other. It is not a time to worry about what you are going to do about the future. Right now you need to concentrate on getting through this minute, this hour, this day, one at a time. The rest will come.

I am still reeling from the loss of my husband 4 months ago, and I can tell you that a strong support system of family and friends will be the most important thing to help get you through it. My daughter is in college, and she missed 2 weeks of school at the time of her father's death, but she was able to return and catch up. It's a lot of stress, but you will get through it.

I'm sorry about your loss. One of the toughest experiences in life is the loss of a loved one. It's not fair, nobody deserves it, and as hard as it is, it makes us stronger and helps us appreciate how delicate life is.

I urge you to seek a support group to help you cope, whether it be family members, a close family friend, or someone who you look up to.

I will share one of my favorite quotes:

"If God brought you to it, God will bring you through it."

Sorry for your loss, i read your past posts and it looks like in november your father had collapsed from working out and he had a siezure and went to the hospital... that really is a tough thing to deal with twice to find him like that.

I am so sorry for your loss & for the traumatic way it happened. Yes this will definately be one of the most difficult times of your life. I just lost my mother & I am 53 years old. I cannot even imagine how difficult it would be to lose a parent so young. Be strong & hold on closely to your remaining family all the more firmly. You & your family will be in my thoughts & prayers.
