I bought a 2011 Schecter Hellraiser Special in September. I'm not in a band, I just try to kick out some jams now and then. since the kiddos came along my time for practice has dwindled but since they're are 3.5 and 2 years now and less work I may be able to mess around with it more. before this one I had one of those cheap Ibanez Metal Pack setups. I've replaced the amp with a Line 6 Spider IV 75 (since I don't play in a band and it's just for plucking around at home)

I think this is basically turning into the musician thread anyway haha and since we're talking gear ....

I like the heavy stuff, and there's nothing better for that than a big solid les paul. I've had my Epi LP custom for years (yellow one) put EMG's in it (81/85) and it is a smokin' guitar. Recently traded in my marshall JCM-900 for this new EC-1000 (red one) and it plays great and sounds HUGE. also got EMGs (81/60). The black one is kindof a frankenstein. My grandpa bought it new in the early 70's as a creamy white american strat, and the neck ended up warping, so he custom fitted a peavey patriot neck on from another one he had that the electronics didn't work in. I put Fenders '54 custom shop pups in it a while back and it sounds great. He gave it to me when I was 14 so I could learn to play, he passed a few years ago so I painted it black and it doesn't leave my home studio. I'm hoping one day to pass it to my kid(s) so they can learn.

and of course... my engl Fireball 100 and 4x12 XXL pro cab

The last picture is me when I was like 2-3 haha and my grandpa is playing the strat I was talking about. He had a band for 25+ years, it kinda runs in the family haha

I love this idea! I am always looking for places to find new music! We should definitely get this going - what is better than listening to new music, windows down on a spring day, driving around? Nothing!

Have not heard any piano players chime in so here I am! I play country music on piano mixed with some classic rock, southern rock, and some popular music! Although my full time jobs as an active duty Air Force Airman and a husband/father, I still find some time to play live shows in and around the place I'm stationed at in New Mexico! Here is some of my info

have a listen to some of my originals on facebook!!

Also I was "that guy" playing the piano and singing in the parking lot at the host hotel for Camaro5Fest 2 in Chandler!!
