They sell at pet stores these things that make a loud noise and spray air when they detect movement. Worked to keep our cats off the kitchen counter, I'm sure it'd work for you! Can't remember exactly what it was called.. something like Scat Cat or such.. good luck and please post your solution!

I went to visit my mother last month, and I was afraid of the cats jumping on my car. Fortunately, they did not. I have too many precise firearms back at her place to allow that to happen. They're my cats, too, but I don't protect them like I do my dogs.

So... I think the cats sensed the lack of love around my car. The day I left, I saw a difference in sheen on my paint. One of the cats peed on the lower part of my driver's side door. I washed it off right then and there. It couldn't have been on it for more than a few hours. Whew!

Stupid cats!

There's a thing called a scat mat that gives a low level shock if they get on it. They don't like sticky stuff either so lay several strips of 2" masking tape sticky side up around the car.

When the cat gets on the car,
1. go get the water hose
2. calmly walk up to the car with the hose
3. put down the hose
4. calmly remove cat from car
5. put cat on ground
6. pick up hose
7. spray the hell outta the cat with the hose

Do not go from step 2 directly to 7.... cat will try to do a burn out on the hood to get away.... kitty at wide open throttle... 4 sets of claws, no traction on a wet surface = f'd up paint

I turned my sister's cat into bobcat with my 86 Z28... totally an accident. I forgot to check under the hood one morning. I started the car, heard the screech from the cat, and shut it down. Next thing I see is a flash of gold fur traveling at high speed away from the car....kinda like a furry cruise missile....low level and fast The cat survived - the little sh*t lived almost 20 years after that.... the Z died horribly in a collision with a mustang 3 years later....

Sounds good. My neighbor's cat likes to sleep on my BMW and my wife's Mercedes. I'd love to kill the little fcukers but I like my neighbor. Will try this first. I have to get rid of the pesty cats from my garage before my Camaro comes home. I can't imagine what I'd do if a cat gets on my Camaro.

This gets me thinking... Why are you guys complaining about pussies on your car?

Use a little laser light to get the cat off the car first, That way he doesn't scratch your car from the BB gun....then CAP his Butt with Full Auto paint ball/bb gun. Your car will thank you

Me too. lol

She asked for any tips on how to keep them off the car, I was gonna tell her to use Borla LTH and full exhaust.

That'll keep the 'cats' off the car. lol

El Paso has a leash law and it pertains to cats also. The animals should be in the house or on a leash. That would fix your problem and your neighbors problems also. Statistically speaking your reducing the cats life by putting them outside. e.g. run over, poisoned, infections, disease. I hope this information helps since you did not want joking about "lethal options" against fluffy.

You may not approve, but lethal options are completely effective.

but then your radiator is clogged with cat hair....atleast it always was on the payloader when they would sleep there because of the block warmer.

After the 2nd time I got used to just bumpping the engine, then waiting a few sec before starting it up.

but another option would be to trade in the cats for some real companionship.....a new puppy!!

try adorning the little angels with "booties" for their little feet!..this way they can walk all over the car,and NOT scratch it!..sound good?

yes!..they "love" to knit!..they do this, because they have ''attitude" problems!
