Today reminds me of the service I put forth.
I remember back when a sister ship was hit by a mine in the Persain Gulf. USS Princeton was hit by a mine from Iraq.
I remember back when one ship steering cable broke and the ship ran into another ship My ship had to go and be changed that steer cable where my ship, USS Cowpens would not run into another ship due to a steer cable breaking.
I remember back when we on the ship treated each person as a person.
I remember back the commissioning of my ship, March 9th, 1991.
We must remember what every Veteran went through, even one's that served back 200 years ago.
Thank you all that served and Thank you to our Active Duty.

Thank you to all who serve, without you all I wouldn't have this car, this computer, my job, my house, my family etc.

I know just how fortunate I am for what I have and why I can have it.

God bless 'em! An elderly gentleman came into our store yesterday wearing his KOREA ball cap and you could see him puff up with pride when I said "hello sir, I can see that you are an American Hero!" What a sweet guy, and he really loved the attention he got from us girls because he IS a hero!
To all you guys and gals serving, to all you servicefolk that made it home, and in the memories of those who did not - Thank you for your sacrifice to our country.
Freedom is NOT free.
