I hope you get him to go. People have no idea how smooth and how much fun it is until they actually get onboard. Way different than the Navy I would imagine! We practically had to drag my mother on, and she just loves it now! And I agree RCCL is the best. Holland America is in like the Mercedes/Caddy class, but a little more pricey.

Royal Caribbean is probably one of the best Value cruises around. Staff is nice, the ships are clean and massive.
Clean and massive is always a good thing!

You did an awesome job, she a beauty! I’m a Plank Owner and was there for about 6 months prior to commissioning. They had a few of us living at the military hotel in Pascagoula and working (read - goofing off) in a warehouse somewhere near the shipyard!

Great thread.

We've been on Celebrity (Bermuda, Alaska Inside Passage), Princess (Eastern (2x) and Western Caribbean) and Cunard (Queen Mary 2 Trans-Atlantic). Our first cruise was to Bermuda on Home Lines Atlantic -no longer operating.

We love them all -for different reasons depending on what we're looking for...

We've been on Carnival's: Sensation, Glory and Destiny. And, Royal Caribbean's: Freedom of the Seas. Those were good times!

You going to sneak into my luggage?

My parents first tried Norwegian in 2004 and this is a first for Kim and I.

One of the things I like is making the stop in St. Thomas. Since we are driving down bring liquor back won't be a problem and since we are allowed like 5 liters of Alcohol per person duty free. Any suggestions on that one from the Oshawa crowd

I actually like to get the alcohol there for Christmas presents.
