I don't play MMORPGs but this is the only one I would consider actually trying. I like Jedi and Sith but really the Bounty Hunter sounds pretty sweet and fun to me. hmmmm who knows maybe I'll actually have to try it Bioware is my favorite developer by far they make the best games ever!!

Added a little easter egg to the website. For those of you who want our ventilo information that want to play SC II or Bad Company 2 with us, enter the Konami Code on any of our pages.

For those of you that don't know the Konami Code, shame on you.

After you enter it, press the enter key.

SWG definately had the greatest crafting system I've ever seen in a game. I wish some other game was as focused. Could you imagine if loot drops in Warcraft had various stats that affected the outcome of gear!?!

Having been playing (yes, still playing) SWG for the last 6 years, even I am looking forward to this new game. Will give it a go, and will make the decision on whether or not to completely leave SWG at that point.

I'm looking forward to it. I played SWG from the beta, through the first year and then off and on for a while. I really lost interest after the first combat upgrade. I felt that the devs gradually ruined the game after about 6 months. I was on Starsider.

Hopefully Bioware can get it right.

This game is going to be amazing. I played SWG from beta up until 6 months ago. For some reason, Sony had that needle firmly in my arm. Even after running out of things to do, and having everything that was to be had in the game, I would still login just to drive around on my flashspeeder. Guess it was because that was the only Star Wars MMO out, and I am a SW fanatic. But now with SWTOR coming out, and it being from Bioware to boot . I cannot wait for this game to come out. Bioware never disappoints.

They need to hurry up and toss out some more Beta keys. I want to get in their and start exploring the game. I cant get enough of the fix, I have been active on the SWTOR wiki and posting up content on our guild site.

Need MOAR!

I plan on at least giving this one a try; it'd be hard not too. I played SWG and while I agree with earlier comments on the depth of the crafting system (I had more fun building and flying starfighters than when doing the rather thin storylines or grinding), it was otherwise the weakest MMO I played since my brief foray into Everquest.

Bioware seems to have the right idea, especially balancing the classes out so the non-Jedi classes are just as mean. Setting some freakishly emo dark Jedi ablaze with a flamethrower just sounds...fun.

I do wish their space combat was more like X-Wing and TIE Fighter because the space combat was one of the high points of SWG. There was something deeply satisfying about taking off in a Y-Wing with your buddy on the turret gun and taking on all comers.

More games should have multi-crewed vehicles.

New crafting info came out yesterday. It looks awsome. It allows you to use your companion characters to do quests, gather and craft for you while you are on or offline.
