Look at what others have done to theirs and pick a little off of everyone and make it your own.

I love my rims once I plastidipped them and added a red pinstripe around. I think it looks way more badass than cheap. I also did a lot of other black accenting to balance things out though (not just the rims). Sure if I had the cash I'd probably get them done up in glass black or change them entirely.

"Better" is in the eye of the beholder.
Chrome wheels vs black, stripes, scoops, spoilers, flares, etc., all can be "better" to one person and not to another. My preferences lean toward more conservative, factory looks. Others think the opposite.

I would get aftermarket wheels that are at least 20".

For me I wouldn't, especially if you have forged rims. I also here that the sun can discolor the rims over time. If you scratch them, touching them up will be virtually impossible. Here is an interesting thread.

gill stripes are cheap and easy. Color match your bowties on your center wheel caps. Take the CAMARO lettering and put it somewhere i.e. interior dash, engine cover. These are simple easy and cheap. If you have money well... only the wallet and imagination are your limits lol!!
