Soon as she has a little break in mileage , Im guessing the engine does not need 1500 mi break in I think its more for the clutch and rear end and tranny but I could be wrong

I had mine wrapped same as yours for the same reason. It is a blast to track and the wrap makes it easy to clean up after. The wheels will take a beating from tracking, the hot rubber, brake dust, and grit will scratch them quickly. I have heard that ceramic coating works well to minimize this. I am going to pull the trigger on a second set of rims this winter to have a dedicated track set, I think the wheels really set the car apart from all others (like the wing doesen't)
Nice lookin ride, have fun trackin.

Good to hear that the wrap helps with Maint on a black car . I already have a set of BC forged wheels coming with Michelin sport 4s tires for the street . I’m saving the Goodyear’s and stock wheels for track duty. I was debating on another set of stock wheels for the street but decided on the BC Forged for a different look.

Any comparisons in the handling department. I already know it rides much stiffer, but how does it feel damping wise, sharpness wise, etc compared to the standard ZL1 with magnetic dampers.

Does it feel that much more sharp and precise?

I am going to be adding the ZL1 1LE solid rear bushing kit on my SS 1LE and wondering how much of a difference it makes in feel to have the rear-end hard mounted to the chassis.

Cheers

I will tell you my initial impression is that it is definatly a sharper knife every thing feels more direct prior to getting the 1LE I was going to just upgrade my ZL1 and I had thought of the below mods to improve it on track something you might consider as an upgrade path . Good Luvk

Got car back on Friday Mike and his crew did a great job on the Xpel whole car wrap .

I also pulled the stock 1LE wheels and tires and will use them exclusively for track work, I added the BC Forged wheels and Michelin 4S tires for street duty
