ummm, I'd double check that. almost all the time paying ahead is simply an admission of guilt on your part to avoid a court appearance. I know I always did it cause I knew I wasn't going to beat it and didn't want to waste a day sitting in court. thankfully though, my last ticket was at least 10yrs ago.

yeah most dmv's report atleast every six months to insurance companies and vice versa to see if you have obtained any points, and most of the time if you pay the fine prior it is an admission to the charge and is dispoed as such. |

Better check your state laws. I was told something similar and turns out the cop either didnt know the law or lied.
P.S. Is that one of the Village People behind your car? Was there an Indian and a construction worker with him? |

That sucks but it happens for sure. I have been pulled over 6 times in my camaro but only one of those times was a speeding violation, the other 5 times it was because I refused to drill my front bumper for the license plate holder and was kind of rebelling about Montanas stupid requirement for a front plate. Luckily, three of those HPs were more interested in seeing the car then giving me a ticket and all gave me warnings.
Eventually found a great front license holder that did not have to drill the bumper, now I can drive my car without the stress of seeing a cop. As far as speeding, these cars run so smooth at high speed that I use my cruise control anytime I am on the highway, just to easy to not pay attention and before you know it you look down and your topping 90 mph!!! I would also agree with the comment that Red cars get more attention from cops, at least if your doing something on the fringes of legal you will never get by with it. Just being in a hot camaro does not help your chances either!!!

Yeah, I've had two this year already Thank God I work for a lawyer...
The reason red/yellow/orange/brightly colored cars get more attention from cops is because the color draws the eye AND because you appear to be going faster in a brightly colored vehicle, whereas a darker one masks your speed.
