I wonder if the people talking about trading in their ZL1s for Z/28s know that they'll be trading in their fairly luxurious sports cars for what's essentially a street-legal race car with a ton of interior features ripped out.

yeah that's the thing. the new Z/28 isn't like any previous Z. it's basically a race car. no matter what the chief engineer thinks, the first gen was a DD, and I wouldn't want to DD drive the new one.
