Nice photos!

I like the D7000 too. Hope I can upgrade next year. The new DSLR's do some amazing things.

That they do. Biggest thing I noticed was t light sensitivity with the new sensor, and noise levels at higher ISOs. Everything last night was shot around 1000ISO, and there is no noise to be found.

Good luck on the upgrade.

Thanks. My A350 does not do well in low light. I'll post some examples tomorrow. Not at my laptop now.

These might have been a bit better with a tripod, but the noise would still be there. I ended up resting the camera on a wall on the deck.

The next morning

Have a great day everyone!

Yes, a tripod would have most certainly helped in this setting. Then you could have turned your ISO down to the 100 mark (anything with that much black you need to be that low) and shot as slow a shutter speed as you needed to to get the lighting you wanted. Which for me, I think it would have been something like this:

Camera mounted on tripod
Shooting in Manual
ISO 100
f-stop: 7-8ish
shutter speed: 8-12sec I am thinking based on how dark the scene is. Maybe a little less, it would have taken a couple of shots for sure.

I'm with ya on the photography stuff, love it all!

Any suggestions for shooting cars in garages and with single strobes and such?
