I was hoping for the LT4 , but I don't think that will happen. Too much weight. I have a feeling a TT 2.0 would make some people angry....

Truth be told the last gen Mustang with a full set of coilovers and suspension mods are deadly track cars. I was at PIR last year for a road course event and saw a 2013 Mustang GT with Cortex coilovers, adjustable front and rear sways with a wats link and torque arm absolutely kick the crap out of a modded C6Z.

The data recorder was showing steady 1.21 lateral G's and peaks in the 1.6 range.

All told he was something like 51 grand into the car, including the price of the car. Think he was also running H/C/I for the engine. So like... $10,000 in suspension and brakes, rest in engine

I believe it! Yeah it's always cheaper to go the mod it yourself route than buy the race car route. Similarly with the ZL1 Vs Modded SS debate that always happens on this site. I think its funny when people talk so badly about mustangs, when in the real world...they are impressive machines. Bolt-on mustangs beating ZL1s...
