I'm 2.5" as well. Just took the exhaust pipes from a stock SS (LS3). Worked great.

Well I was mainly looking to see if I would get more horses from switching to a bigger pipe like 2.5 or 3.. but I mean the shop is probably gonna charged a few hundred dollars for new piping which I rather keep and buy another mod.. or just save.. If I am not gonna get any better power.. Ill install x pipe and keep stock pipes all the way back to the pipes...

I wanted to do this but did not plan right and now I need to fix my exhaust soon or else I might die from the fumes from under the car..

I searched in the local market in CA and no one has one free LS3 stock catback.. sooo pretty much keeping my V6 stock piping..

by the way, K i replied back to ur question on my header thread... dude, go to harbor freight tools.. I got a set of adapter for the ratchet drive in there for 5 bucks.. good enough to do the job

Looks like it may have been an update in the transmission programming. I wonder if you have the latest program. Didn't they have a TSB on the early automatics? I seem to recall something about a programming update.
I just know for sure that not all 10's lack this feature.
