Thanks Mr W! We have two cars HOD registered and CFEST paid for in Novice 2. For the helmet questions from my perspective - The new(er) Simpson SA2015 open face helmet I ordered for my Son arrived today. Medium priced but a very nice and comfortable helmet that comes with a large and small side pad to adjust for the driver. These run a bit smaller than the size chart indicates so we went with an XXL rather than the XL that the chart showed. We have the same helmet in an XL for my other Son and that is where we made the comparison. This helmet has great sound deadening - much more that the SA2005 Simpson full face that I use. It will be hard to hear the ZL1 during staging at the dragstrip (mine is an M6 so it matters) but no problem when you are cranking it. Again, thanks for the reply and THANKS for getting us the full track. This is going to be awesome!

I am getting worse than a 6 year old waiting on Christmas. 2 Helmets and new graphics (numbers) just came in today. Better get here soon or my credit card is going to melt down.

Where do you order your numbers from? The less of that shoe polish crap I can have on my car, the better.

Hooked On Driving has some if you need it....

https://www.hookedondriving.com/viny...ers/index.cfm?

NCM Motorsports Park has a Winding Road store onsite which also sells numbers, helmets and decals....Johnsonrod had a video clip with the inside look of the store in one of his track videos.

https://store.windingroad.com/car-numbers-c50.aspx

I hope this helps.

So the question was asked but I don't know if I saw a complete answer. Do we need numbers for the road course? Do we need numbers for the drag strip? If so can they be the same? I know the drags want right side of windshield and passenger window. But pictures of the road course from years past show numbers on doors. Also, can we choose our own number and have stickers made beforehand? I was thinking of having magnetic numbers made at Staples or a sign shop for the doors and vinyl for the windows. Any thoughts?
