Remember now Chevy and Ford know what their competition is, makes it that much easier to top it so get your panties out of a bunch and enjoy the show. ... fan boy

If they build it people will buy it, people are paying 75 for the Z28 just to have it even if they never tack it. Jay Leno will probably be the 1st one in line to get the Hellcat lol.

At the end listen to the way this thing shifts. Sounds pretty damn quick. If this thing can get close to dct shift speeds watch out.

Its faster. The 6spd went 10.90's on a drag radial and the auto is faster.
Your saying they already tested the manual Hellcat and it went 10.90's with a set of DR's? Damn, sh!t just got real. Of course if the car ends up costing over $75k then that will be a bit of a bummer.

Yup. Where have you been? Its all over the interwebz. LOL

Think of it like this. A GTR is 10sec capable. Whats those cost? $110+? This car is much bigger, with a huge trunk, and can fit 4 adults easily. For 30k less? Running the same times with only a drag radial? Id take it, if i had the coin.

Right but it's still a muscle car Challenger. I can think of many other cars I would rather have for that kind of coin. Better yet you could probably mod a RT with a brand new drivetrain to kill a Hellcat and have enough money left over for another brand new car as a daily driver. Still a very cool car and makes for some good Mopar bragging rights. He'll for all I know it could have a base starting MSRP of 60k (longshot) and be the best thing since sliced bread. Just going to have to wait and find out.

I paid less for my new Challenger SRT8 than I did for my new Camaro SS/RS and the Mustang GT 5.0 I was going to buy was more than both.

Very true. I could take 20k and buy a fox body and go 8's. LOL

If all GM wanted to do was make a camaro with an LS7 then they would have made it an option for the camaro 1LE and called it a day, not to mention at least $25,000 cheaper.
And that's EXACTLY what I wished they'd do. Heck, it could have standard shocks, the same 18"steel wheels, tires and brakes from a V6 Camaro... just give me the LS7 factory installed at an affordable price. Not everyone cares about how fast their car would lap a road course. Doesn't have to be called a Z/28, as the "purists" need that to be the road course car... but how cool would it be to have an LS7 engine option without all the other expensive stuff many guys don't want or need?

I think it is more about getting this car sure there are ways that you can get into the 9's and 10's but something about being able to go 10's right off the showroom floor with a factory warranty.

There are going to be guys that get this car with no plans or mods then there are going to be guys that will look to get more.

These are going to be one of the last factory Muscle Cars, We are at the peak right now you thought that 454 LS6 and 70 Hemi were it, now is the time enjoy while you can.
Maybe we have 2-3 years the new Camaro is going to be smaller than this gen, there is a remodel of the Challenger in 2018 so is this the final generation.
