I eat six small healthy meals a day,

this may help you as an example!

Space them every 3 to 3 1/2 hours

Meal 1

½ cup (cooked Measurement) oatmeal w/1 tbl of flax oil
1/3 grapefruit
4 egg whites

Meal 2

4 oz Talapia 2 oz sweet potato
12 asparagus spears
3 prunes
1 lightly salted rice cake

Meal 3

4 oz ground turkey breast
1/3 cup brown rice
1/3 apple

Meal 4

½ cup scallops
1/3 cup cooked rice1 tsp no fat red sauce
1/3 cup yellow squash
1 tsp olive oil

Meal 5

2 cups spinach leaves
3 oz chicken breast
1 tbl balsamic vinegar & 1 tsp olive oil
1/4 cup shaved carrots
3 cherry tomato

Meal 6

4 oz flank steak
1 tsp flax oil
1 slice wheat bread
12 asparagus spears

Those sound good & very healthy. Yeah, I get the whole several small meals a day thing. But I need things I can hold in one hand & eat quickly between clients at work or when I am running around getting things done at home or out & about. My trail mix was good but I can't enjoy that several times a day. My sandwiches were very good but I don't have time to warm up a meal several times a day at work. I can supplement with made from scratch stuff but if I am going to be this hungry, I need comercially prepared quick snacks that are healthy and tasty without a lot of preservatives.

Saw this thread and just thought I would tell my News years Story. I had my last adult beverage News years eve. I was drinking way too much. About two to three 30paks of beer every week. I hit a low on christmas eve and had a hudge wake up call on News Years eve while watching a friend of mine's dad make a sorry fool out of himself at the age of 70 do to excessive drinking. I decided that I didn't want to end up like him at the same age;100lbs overweight , can barely walk, pacemaker, diabetes, and still drinking himself silly every night.
Well, fast forward almost three weeks later ,and I lost almost 12lbs so far. I started running again and I feel much better. I hope to lose about 55 more lbs.

Moral of the story, if I can stop drinking cold turkey and manage to not have one drink for three weeks ,you guy can loose that weight you want to get off. Trust me you'll be happy you did.

Yeah I have clients all day too but we do have a microwave at work, its easy to just grab the baggys and go in the morning, I do all my cooking for the week on my day off and portion them out in baggys, but if you cant warm them, you may want to think about getting healthy protien shakes, or maybe healthy wheat wraps you don't have to heat up, I'll think on it and come up with of a few meals that requires no heating!

Great story. You can do it, mentally prepare yourself for the hard work and plan for everything... your meals, your workouts and your rest. Lots of great knowledge on this site to help you in any way possible. No one here will lie and say it's easy, it's freakin hard work, but the outcomes make you feel like a million dollars.

Now go do it, or Bonnie will throat punch you.

Went and got Skip new running shoes with Nike plus. He really likes them. So we are running ready again.

Went to a BBQ restaraunt we had never tried before and it was really bad. I couldn't believe how much butter and such they added to everything. I picked at my food but I still feel terrible. Definitely running this afternoon and not going back to that place.
