Diane - I'm not sure. I was sitting in the staging lane and I heard it over the PA. The Vengenance Corvette was there though.

I was in Greensboro Friday when the Blizzard started and almost got stuck there for the weekend. Fortunately, my boss let me leave at 8:30. I don't drive in the snow that often but I can tell you this was one of the worst storms that I have ever encountered as far as driving. There were no less than a dozen vehicles in the median and 2 cars spun out in front of me. Luckily I was going slow enough to stop and avoid them.

It took me 4 1/2 Hours to go from Greensboro to Charlotte which is normally a 2 Hour drive at the most. The good news is that I made it home Friday night and was able to compete in the Wanna Go Fast event in Ocala Saturday morning. Here's some pics of the Blizzard & Wanna Go fast......

My parents had a party just after Smokey and the Bandit came out. One of the guests had one of the Bandits signed by Burt. She brought it to the party and gave me a ride in it. I too was a huge fan (age 7). Apparently, Sally Field had gotten the car as part of a perk and gave it to someone in the family. (or something like that)

That car is pure history....GOOD LUCK!
