Yep, and there's an event every year called the Bandit Run. They have lots of Bandit Cars, the police cars and the tractor trailer from the movie too!

I'll start taking pics when I get some auction cars.

Drove three cars over the block today. Attendance for a Tuesday was heavy!

Trick -- Was your 1/2 mile run from a standing start ?? I have a one mile stretch of four lane divided highway that is about 15 miles away from me. There are no roads, driveways, or any way someone could get out in front of me for the whole mile. I have had the zl1 up to 150 mph on that road. It took over 1/2 mile to get that fast.

Jan -- hope the warmer temps gets rid of your snow.

John - Yes, it was a standing start. I tried several different suspension modes but due to the loose asphalt I couldn't get it to hook-up off the line. I would spin several hundred feet before it hooked up. There were several ZL1's there and they were running 137 - 138 as well. One of the sponsors. A ZL1 Vert hit 140 but he was on drag radials.

I beat a Porsche Panamera, 5.0 Mustang & a Dodge Diesel pickup on steroids. Lost to a Porsche 911 Turbo S, 5.0 Mustang on drag slicks & nitrous, and a Hell Cat Charger on drag slicks.

Not a bad day in my opinion - I beat everything that was stock and lost to cars that were set up for racing. Hope to do it again next year with slicks!

Finally back to a regular day at work today as schools are finally back in session. Enjoyed mt snowmagedon vacation. HAGD all.

Definitely some BIG Dogs there. One of the sponsors cars went 205!
