Well the trip to the Mecum Auto Auction didn't turn out so good. We took my dad's Corvette and the shift cable came loose after getting gas in Orlando last night. I could not get it into any gear. So I called AAA - We jacked it up started it and manually put in drive so so I could drive it back home. Got in at 1:30 this morning. Waiting on AAA to tow it to the Chevrolet dealership now.

That sucks. Hope you can still go to the auction.

I have a drivers meeting today. Gotta leave the Pavilions cruise early.

Finally finished putting the Camaro away for the winter this weekend although it really has not been driven much for about a month now. I ran it through a touchless wash about a week and a half ago. Yesterday I gave it a rinseless wash in the garage to get it clean enough to cover. This morning I cleaned out the side of the garage where I normally keep it. Then I moved it over put stabil in the tank and hooked up the battery tender and covered it up. They are calling for up to a foot of snow tomorrow and Monday so I wanted to make room in the garage for one of our other cars so I don't have to clean the snow off it.

I have my Silverado in it right now since my wife is in Florida so she does not need to use her car. Once she gets back on Tuesday I will probably let her park in the garage as her Escape fits in there easier than my Silverado does.

We only had a drivers meeting today. There are a few changes, but nothing to take away from the fun.

Kinda sucks to have to put your toys away.

Took a few shots of some cars at the Pavilions Cruise today. Had to leave for about 2 hours for our meeting, so I felt like I missed quite a lot! I experimented with the camera settings and I'm not happy with the results, so I will just post the link.

For the next two weekends, I will not be able to go to any cruises, as I will be busy at the Barrett Jackson auction. I usually post up all of the cars I am driving on Facebook, but the WIFI there gets taxed as the week progresses, so the pictures may stop after a while. I'll see what I can post up here as the week goes on.

It sure is getting slower & slower on C5 & C6 is no better. I miss the way things were.

I know what you mean. But I am usually busy on the weekends. Maybe everyone is watching football.

There is a bit of a change this year. We will no longer be working bell to bell. There is a morning crew, 8 am to5 PM, and an evening crew, 1 pm until whenever. I am on the evening crew, so I have a better than average chance of being on TV. Plus I won't be so tired.

I agree with Rick. I think things will pickup when the football season is over.

Well what a great day it is to live in Upstate N.Y. 6 degrees this morning. Had an appointment this morning with the doctor. Expecting up to 20 inches of snow today.
