Welcome Aboard TNBADSS.
I got a call from my sister & had to head to Clarksville to be with daddy. He continues to decline. They are saying likely he will be gone any time to within the next couple of days but of course give the caveat that there have been folks to hold on in that state for a week also. His fever broke, the pain meds kicked in & he was resting easy & breathing nicely finally so I decided to come home. My older sister is going to stay the night. If nothing happens through the night I will try to go to work tomorrow but made my sister promise to call me if there is any change. It is going to be a rough week. Better turn in.

I'm up but not quite awake. I will call my sister & check in my dad at a more decent hour before I leave the house then decide if I will go to work or up to see him again. It is so hard to decide what to do. This could be the day or it could be a vigil of a few days. I need coffee.

I recall dad telling me to go to work the last week he was around. As long as your siblings can't fault you for how much you've done for him lately then there's no wrong answer.

Survived first day as an interpreter at hospital. Spent the day in the oncology floor and that is tough when all the patients at this hospital are kids. I wish I could take the pain away and heal them all. Tomorrow is day 2 of training and will be in the emergency room. That should be interesting and hectic all day.
