I agree. Love my ZL1, faster zero to sixty and the quarter mile. Drop another 15/20K into your ZL1 and it will also be faster than the Z/28 on any track. Spend 15/20K on a ZL1 then you have two cars in the same price range. Seems fair to me, and the ZL1 would blow away the Z/28. And the ZL1 is now rare. Four years in production, so collectors are already trying to get one. |

Thanks! Still think those pics make the car look weaker and less masculine. It just doesn't have that Beast look. I'll have to see it in person for sure. I saw they will be in this area on the 24th. I'll have to check the weather. |

You can't see crap out of the rear view tiny window. There seems to be less head room though the one we sat in did have a sun roof so that may have something to do with it. There is a lot less room in the back seat but more room in the trunk. No way you could put even a doughnut spare tire in it unless you just put it in the trunk over the trunk liner like a suitcase. The inside of the hood is plastic & the outside is aluminum. The inside lighting & infotainment center is cool with it's radar & lots of other functions. The side lights look crappy but the headlights & glowtie are cool. I kind of like the spoiler & the rear diffuser. I'm with you though about it looking a little less muscular.
Here are a few pics:

I like the look of the Black SS. That muffler looks heavy and overkill in my opinion. The Glow Tie is Cool!

The technology of the muffler is supposedly borrowed from the Vette and has different modes but I'm with you, it is butt ugly & probably heavy. Under the hood is ugly too & very tight. It will be a PITA to work on. Plenty for the aftermarket folks to work on though.
Happy Friday morning everyone. Not looking good for our cruise this weekend. This year we have had a lot of our events rained out or just drenched. I guess our luck just ran out as in previous years we had pretty good luck with the weather. HAGD all.

Thanks for posting those pics. Haven't decided if I'll go tomorrow. They have parking for those whom drive in with their Camaros, weather will be ok, cloudy in the mid 50s. Also prizes for the first 200, which definitely won't be me, I'm never early or on time.
Still can't put my finger on it. They look sorta European, the lines have all gone soft, or it makes me think that Toyota designed it. Then I glance at it and the Mustang from the 80s comes to mind...... It's a Muscle car, but it no longer looks like a bodybuilder with his muscles pumped and flexed rock hard. It just doesn't have that powerful nasty look, like a pit bull growling at you ready to pounce. Just my opinion. I definitely need to see it in person. |

Thanks for the pics!! I am not too crazy about this new Camaro and I hate where they put the SS badge. I do like the interior though. Need to see one in person (not that I'll be giving up the Green Flash)!!

Hi all.
Been lurking for a while. My opinion, Front and sides not too bad. Back? Looks like they took from a Honda/Hundei/Toyota/korean/Japanese (take your pick, saw all today, and they all looked the same). Oh, yes I am an old phart in early 50s.
