Well, it looks like the Meguiar's Cleaner Wax is getting them. I did the hood, trunk, nose, Upper front quarter panels & mirrors after work & they turned out pretty good. I'll do the rest after work tomorrow.
I have started gradually packing home the rest of my stuff from the Nashville office. What a royal PITA. Well, no more Thursdays in Nashville. Jut a few more Tuesdays then no more commute. I think there must be a male equivalent of "nesting" that pregnant women do & my husband is having it now. Except instead of preparing the nest for babies, he is apparently preparing his nest for retirement. Every day he has bought, fixed or worked on something around the house or outside, some days, several things. He never wants to go anywhere anymore. Just wants to hang out at home. What's up with that?

Happy Friday all!
I logged on at work early today as I get to leave early to take an ASE test. Hope all of this studying all week pays off. The test will cause me to miss a Friday night cruise. Bummer.

Oh well, failed this particular test again. This time, by one question.

Dang! That sucks! Sounds like my kind of luck.
Today the confusing part of the job began. I still have a lot of the clients from my old job on my caseload and they started adding the ones from the new job. Lost of things to do. I'm sure I'll forget something. I will just do the best I can. On a brighter note, Finally! The water spots are gone at last. Now crossing my fingers that it does not rain on the car show tomorrow. ![]() Let the weekend begin!

Well, I'm up but not very at 'um. My back hurts again. I can't make up my mind about going to the car show. They are also calling for a 30 -50% chance (depending on the source you are listening to) of those unpredictable pop-up showers. Just not sure it is worth it to sit around all day hurting & risk getting water spots again. Happy Saturday.

I wanted to wash the Camaro today as it is filthy from recent rain. However I want to drive it to Cleveland today and it looks like there will be rain showers moving in before I will get home. I think I will just skip the wash and go "riding dirty" and do it tomorrow instead. I will need to give a a really good cleaning before next Sat as I will be going to a big car show with it.

I did not go to the car show. It looks like they got rained on. This car show was rescheduled from a previous time that was rained out. We just stayed home where I could rest my back any time I needed to. I sanded & painted the porch bench (it was not in as bad shape as the other 2 chairs). Then I put my NCM track sticker & my new Camaro5 sticker on Ruby. Then Mike grilled out some burgers & brats.
I have decided that Mike really is doing some sort of retirement nesting. I took some pics & videos of just some of his recent projects & a few of my days work. First his motorcycle weather vane he thinks is Soooooo cool. Here is the laser light show he set up to go with the Pink Floyd painting he found: Here is the back lighting he installed behind the TV: Then some pics of his projects & mine from today:

Love Pink Floyd! Neat art work!
Started working on the Impala at 7 AM this morning. I replaced the master cylinder, bled the brakes, adjusted the shoes, repacked the wheel bearings, Scrubbed the wheel wells and undercarriage, and the tires and wheels. Ended with giving it and the Camaro a Rinseless Wash wipedown. By the time I was done, there was no time to go to a cruise. Ended up raining here later anyway. To the best of my knowledge, the Impala should not need any more repairs.

It is morning but not so good. My back is killing me. It got to feeling better as the day went on & it did not really bother me much as I was sanding & painting but apparently it aggravated my back. That is the hard thing about my back problems. It does not hurt while I am doing things so I can't tell I am doing anything that will cause problems. Then the next morning...........OUCH!!!!
Headed out to visit parents today. HAGD all.

I am not a motorcycle guy but that is a cool weather vane he did a really nice job on it. It was a great baseball game last night but I got home fairly late around 2am so I am a bit tired today. I do need to finish up a project I started yesterday changing the vinyl shutters on my house. The dark green really faded over the last 15 years but they have a lifetime warranty so I filed a claim and they sent me new ones for free. I removed the old ones yesterday and will install the new ones today.

All he did was buy it & put it up. LOL.
Visited with my daddy. He did not seem quite as good today. He did not talk much & was having a hard time remembering to swallow but he ate all his food. My sisters were both there at hte same time so I got to visit with them too. Then we went & spent some time with Mike's parents. His mother's arthritis was hurting & Mike had to move some lumber for his dad who continues to insist on making huge swings & benches to sell even though he is in constant pain & has a hard time even walking using a motorized scooter to get around much of the time. My daughter is leaving this evening to start hte drive home but will spend the night someplace half way. I will maybe see has Tuesday but am taking off Wednesday to spend with her. So short work weeks for me next 2 weeks. Tomorrow will be busy though. Another weekend as almost in the books.
