Good morning. I went to bed really early last night because i was really sleepy. I still had a hard time getting up. It seems like I need more & more sleep lately. What's up with that? Happy Friday crew.

Increased physical activity?

Since I increased my physical activity and dropped weight, I sleep much better.

I think you have a good theory!

Friday photo from Hot Rod Power Tour. Haven't posted many. This was at Ring Brothers in Spring Green, WI.

Well at the doctors today down another 5lb. finally for a total of 62 pounds gone. Have 8 more pounds to go for my goal of 195. The weight I was when I retired 11 yrs. Heart rate was 120 over 80 sugar was low 90's. Not bad for 70.

Keep up the good work! I know it gets harder to do as you get closer to your goal.

I was the only Camaro at the Time Machines Cruise Night at Sam's Club in Surprise. Since it was MOPAR night, 2/3 of the cars there were new LX bodies.

The vert looks awesome Rick. Spent the day washing detailing clay baring & waxing used all Mothers. The Brazalian Carnuba cleaning wax made the IBM just pop in the bright garage lights. Can't wait to see it in the sun today at the car show. HAGD

Good job! Keep it up.

I just could not motivate myself to go to the club event at a car show today. Ruby still has a lot of water spots on her that I just don't have the energy to deal with. This job change is really draining me physically & mentally. I met with my new boss yesterday. She's nice & I think will be good to work with. I have a meeting set up for next week with the principal of one of the schools I will be in.

Not sure what I will get into today. Mike has been making some repairs around the house & He got some "pleather" for me to fix the foot rest of my reclining sofa so I will at least do that. Have a good Saturday.

I did Hallett about 3 years ago when the Hot Rod Power Tour went from Miami, OK to Stillwater. A small group of us had a special arrangement with the track. Loved the Viper pace car.

Good to be back home, although I miss my son and grandkids. Hang in there Jan, things will get better.

We spent a pretty lazy day at home today. Slept late, just a few chores, re-upholstered my reclining couch foot rest, hung a shelf that was Mama's & rearranged some pictures, then lounged around outside while Mike grilled.

Mm mm, like what is on the grill.

Did loads of yard work today. Think our magnolia tree might be dead or severely stressed. Growing plants is so hard here.

They say our monsoon season is coming to an end. It was disappointing this year. Glad we had lots of rain earlier in the year.
