Haven't driven my Camaro in weeks, and haven't driven the Chevelle in months.

Lots of pool maintenance today, wanted to be done before it reached 115°, but I had to run to the store for an O-ring.

Gonna try to begin the heater core install on the Impala tomorrow, if I can stand the heat.

Sounds lime you are getting dialed in Normagene.

Good morning crew. Off to visit my dad & then go to Mike's parent's house for his mother's birthday celebration. Happy Sunday crew.

Vacation is over got home late yesterday. We had fun hanging out on the beach. I really liked the campground and we will definitely go back there one of these days. I highly recommend the Delaware / Maryland seashore for a trip if you like beach towns. Back to work tomorrow.

Well that weekend went by fast. We still did not get a drop of rain......All around us it rained yesterday & today. Our yard will soon be a dessert if this keeps up. It ls like we are under a dome. Daddy was silly today, & saying funny stuff but not doing as well feeding himself. My sisters were there the same time as me & we fed him. He ate well. We had steaks again at my mother-in-law's house for her birthday. I ate half of mine & saved the rest. Still ate more than I should have but I deserve it. I have finally lost a few pounds. When my work schedule gets changed I will be able to go to the gym 5 days a week! I bought me a dress for my 40th class reunion in a couple of months. Want to drop a few more lbs before then.

I will work my regular schedule the rest of Aug while working to transfer more of my cases to other folks, then drop to 1 day a week in Nashville by Sept & be finished with Nashville before Sept is over. It will be a good thing..................I hope.

Skipinminn, been working on my 4 cylinder import LOL. Should be going for the 200MPH / 6:xx 1/4 mile ET by end of September. Your are never to old until you don't wake up is my rule. Have a few more goddies for the V6 also. Going to BEE a good September/October for me when the air cools down.

We frequented Fenwick Island and Ocean City while we were Maryland residents. Had we not moved out here, we may have bought a place there on the shore.

Nothing like installing a heater core during the afternoon while it is 113*. I would work some, go inside, drink, or whatever. Anyway, the new heater core is in the Impala, but I have to reassemble the dash and reinstall the right side fender well and battery tray. I'll do it over the course of this week when it is cooler.

I just don't know how you handle that heat. I have a hard time in our heat but that is just crazy stuff (I don't care how "dry" the heat is). Glad you got the heater core done though. Be careful in that heat.

I went to bed early & still could not wake up this morning. I guess the old body is just needing more sleep these days. Coffee then off to work to get more done for the transition to the new job. Have a good day.

Unfortunately, had to move back north last year :-(

You can keep both those climates. I like my four seasons. By the time I am sick of one, it is time for the next.

When I lived back east, summer was my favorite season, but it only lasted 3 months. Now I have summer type weather 9 months out of the year.

I can take the heat, but not the cold.

Amen to that Rick that is the main reason I will be moving to a warmer climate as soon as I retire. I would be a happy man if I never saw another flake of snow in my life.

Yup! If I want to see snow, it's just a 2 hour drive away during the winter months.

I could handle a place that had fall & spring weather all year but that is not a place I have found. That heat is NO FUN!

It was a VERY boring day. Only my last clients showed up so I have notes to do but was bored stiff all day. I doubt I will be bored tomorrow.
