um. they have the same record right now...

also, they are the nfc south. I think you need to go back to sleep.

I sure hope we don't see Vance Joseph back next year in Denver... Brock, geez!

He was very sub par as the dolphins defensive coordinator. not sure why he was such a high commodity.

good grief, trying to multi-task worked out great, along with my cold medicine. But what I was trying to say was this from the USA Today, and NFL Game day... "The Saints needed a win and a Panthers loss to clinch the division"... for the Saints to win the Division. That is not true.

If the Saints and Panthers win, both have 12-4 records, Saints get the tie breaker from beating the Panthers twice this year. The only way it works is if Saints lose and Panthers win to get the Panthers the division win. I'm not sure either situation helps the Panthers in the post season as I don't see them going to far with the offense struggling most of the time. But great catch, maybe tomorrow I will have them in the NFC west..

But that is true. Had the panthers lost last week, they would have been 10-5. and the saints would have been (are) 11-4. They would have clinched because the best the panthers could have done was tie the saints next week, but the saints, as you said, wins the tie breaker.

They were just saying, if they wanted to clinch last week, that's what needed to happen. Now, the saints can lose the division, if they lose and panthers win.

I agree with that. I don't see that happening for the Panthers, but a lot of weird things have happened in games this year. It always comes down to who has the healthiest teams going into the playoffs.

which is terrible news for Seattle. They need to win and they need Panthers to beat ATL, for them to make the playoffs. and ATL needs to win if they want to go to the playoffs.

Seattle just has zero offense weapons at the moment. Defense is so-so, but the offense is missing everything.

I don't think there is any way ATL will beat Carolina unless the refs call the game the way they did in the first game ATL had with New Orleans. ATL had 9 first downs on penalties. Without these, not even counting the uncharacteristic interception Drew Brees threw at the end of the game, ATL would have lost.

It's got to be really hard for ATL to try and get back to the playoffs after throwing away the super bowl last year.

It's a shame because they have so many offensive weapons, they should be so much better than they are. Kind of reminds me of the LA Lakers when they had Shaq and Kobe, they couldn't win until Phil Jackson took over as coach.

If Russell Wilson had ATL's offense, Seattle would be a force to be reckoned with.

Which ever of these teams make the playoffs, I don't think will go far this year.

New England is playing even better this year than last, the Steelers are just as good. Though it would be cool for Minnesota or the Eagles to win a SB, since neither team ever has, both NE and PB have, and have to be the fav whichever team makes it to the SB.

Now someone get the Texans to trade Deshaun Watson for Matt Ryan in ATL. Lets bring Gruden (Chuckie) out of retirement and get him to coach ATL, and we get back to the SB and win! (This will never happen!)

Could someone also get the Lions 1 star receiver, 1 good running back, and a couple better OL players. Matthew Stafford is going to end up like Dan Marino. Great QB who never won a SB. Better yet trade him for Matt Ryan! (This won't ever happen either!)

Your Dolphins have a good defense. Could they get a QB and an O line? That's all they really need.

PATS or STEELERS win SB this year.
