Well another day closer to the change in position. So far, so good. Things sound okay so far & I hope the other shoe does not drop at some point. I met with my current supervisor this afternoon to start working on a transition plan.

It can be relaxing , we are there every weekend all year when I am not on call. It is a work in progress but the work I do here I enjoy doing it . yesterday I cut up two tree limbs that fell last week during a storm . Funny thing a neighbour commented on me washing the car my wife said it is my therapy session ha ha .

good luck with your job transition !

Detailing cars is therapy for me too. Have fun working on your cottage.

I guess I will get a lot of therapy tomorrow. Ruby finally gets Bowling Green grunge cleaned off & Pepper needs a bath badly too.

Today I went through my client caseload & made a spread sheet with a little info about each kiddo to assist with disposition of the cases. Closed all that had not been seen in over 90 days & called some to let them know what is going on & discuss transferring to other services/therapist. None of my afternoon clients showed up & I left early. I did 2 miles of walk, fast walk run on the track & it was still 45 min until my class. There was a batch of storms coming our way so I decided to go on home. Then they dissipated. So I helped Mike water the plants. He was off today so his Camaro got a bath.

Glad it is the weekend!

TGIF!

I got off 1 hour early today because my ISP went down, lost TV and telephone too. Supervisor told me not to worry about it.

Too hot to go to the Time Machine's cruise to night, Phoenix got up to 117! He hit 113, and it is still 110!

Got some more Impala parts, can't wait to install them. However, I need to do some time-consuming pool maintenance tomorrow or Sunday.

All of the courtesy lights (4) and dash lights/warning lights now work in the Impala. The new rear courtesy light lenses look nice.

Opened her up again yesterday, but for some reason there was too much wheel spin. I actually thought I accidentally turned off everything and let off the throttle to double check. Sure enough it was in PTM 3, so I launched her again, and same thing. A good six to ten foot patch of burnout from launch, then again from 2nd to 3rd. 3rd to 4th I didn't even redline, ran out of road since I failed my launch the first go round.

I did forget to do the No Lift Shifting, so each time I shifted and floored the pedal I did a vicious burnout. Not what I wanted, I wanted her to stick like glue and get maximum speed.

The only problem is this road is full of patch work and bumpy. I didn't loose traction, other than the burnouts, but once over the 120s I could tell she could possibly grip and the nannies would interfere.

I remember watching Tanner Faust testing the new stingray in Detroit, they closed off a few blocks, and the goal was to see which was faster, Track Mode, or Everything Off. Which means is the Computer Better than a Pro Driver? Engineering and technology is so perfectly tuned in the new Stingray that the majority of the time the Computer/Track Mode was better than the Pro Driver.

It's only downfall was on a section of road that was cobble stone. Tanner lost time, every time he reached that section of road. Why? Because at high speed on those cobblestones too much air came between the road and the tires. Which resulted in the computer cutting power and braking torque.

Tanner commented each time, actually cursed, that he had it to the floor, but it just wouldn't go. Those Damn Nannies! Fortunately my road isn't that bad, but I definitely could feel her hopping and chirping.

Boy though, I must say what a powerhouse and what a rush it is to put that power down. My neighbor showed me this spot, he just got a new 2016 Stingray! He went with the automatic and when he put it to the floor you really feel it BANG as it grabs the next gear. Although I think I might just be a fraction faster, since I'm not running stock and have just a tad more power than a stock ZL1.

The inside of the Stingray is beautiful. Feels like you're sitting in a cockpit, much more closed in the way the center console sits high up. Hubby loves it and is maybe thinking about trading in. Loves the front camera, you never have to worry about scraping the curb that's for sure! Chevy did an Excellent job!

Good morning crew. Slept in a little then made me some egg & banana with walnuts pancakes for a breakfast treat. Saved half of them (froze them) for another day. Having my coffee now then time to wash some filthy cars. HAGD all.

Well I got my closet cleaned out & added new shelving for my shoes. Next step in new shelves/drawers for my crafting stuff. I had been a pocketbook hoarder but got rid of most of them today and a few pairs of shoes/boots I don't wear anymore. It looks a lot better in my closet already.

I washed Ruby & started giving her a spray waxing. She has such bad water spots that spray wax is not going to get it done. I will have to at least do a serious waxing. I hope I won't have to do cleaner wax & paint sealer again. I just don't have the energy for this stuff anymore. I would get her professionally done if A) I had the extra $ and B) I knew someone to do it that I trusted. I should sleep well tonight
