Looks like the late day rain yesterday has again postponed. The deck is still wet & by the time it dries it will be way too hot. I think I will head out to a party they are having at the YMCA pool. Have a great Saturday.

Looks like we may have scored some Rolling Stones tickets for the concert tonight at Ralph Wilson stadium. We went out this afternoon to the pool store wearing our t-shirts from the concert we went to in 1997. The girl at the counter asked us if we were going tonight but we said no that we did not have tickets. She told us her mother had a pair for sale decent seats in the lower bowl for a fair price $200 for the pair. We told her we would take them and we are supposed to pick them up at 4. The best part is I only live a few miles from the stadium so getting there and back should be fairly easy and its a spectacular day 80 and sunny for the show.

That's cool Zandron! Enjoy & try to get some pics to post up.

I got to go to the pool party at the Y & when I got home Hubby was finishing up the deck. Sooooooooooo, I escaped the work. It was too hot for him to be out there but he got it done. I got a little too much sun but not too bad. It was fun but would have been more fun with a friend.

Well the sunburn is a little worse than I thought but still not really bad. Not sure what the day holds; no real plans. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Had a great time at the concert last night. I hope I can still move like Mick Jagger when I am in my 70's.

Cool! Thanks for sharing the pics. I made a dry run to WalMart to buy material to make protective covers that are easy on/off to protect my Camaro seats. I had seen it a week or so ago but someone had already bought most of the bolt and there was only about a yard left. Not nearly enough. Just goes to show when you see something you just need to go ahead & but it. I guess I'll cook some snacks to take to work this week instead.

The yard looks great Jan. I relaxed somewhat today. Mowed the lawn and vacuumed the pool and went for a quick swim. Jackie tried to swim but she thought the water was too cold and changed her mind. It was another sunny warm day so we did a little running around in the Camaro with the top down. I noticed yesterday that hood liner in the Camaro is in sad shape. Its coming apart where it was cut for the Hex Vents and the bottom is falling apart as well. I think I am going to replace it with a composite one from ACS. I just need a few weeks to save up for the purchase price.

Then you will have to cut into the ACS.

C5 is acting crazy tonight.

The title to the Impala arrived yesterday. Since MVD is not open on Saturday here, I have to go to one of those third party title places. Some more stuff I ordered for it should show up this week. Three weeks until the road trip begins.

The heat index here is supposed to be up to 105 today with a chance of severe storms late in the day also. Yuck. Should not be too busy a day so Hopefully I can go to the local health food store & a little fabric place to see if I can get the material for the car seat covers. Have a good day.

I know I will have to cut it for the vents but it will be a lot more durable after the cuts than the factory liner and it will look a lot better as well.
