Thanks. I get a lot of compliments on them. It took me forever to find what I was looking for & someplace to get them custom powder coated to match. It is one of my favorite mods too.

Exercise class and some extra track time wiped me out again. Nighty night crew.

Good morning. My back is hurting a little again. I think doing planks in class may be what is aggravating my back. It does not hurt my back when I am doing them but it seems like every time we do them in class my back hurts the next day. I know they are supposed to be good for your core but I don't think my core likes them. Ruby Too is not happy with her breakfast this morning. She only ate her apple slice & is throwing her plate with all her lettuce & parsley in it. She has a sweet tooth & wants more fruit but it gives her diarrhea. Rotten rabbit. Even when she is bad she is adorable. I need coffee!!!!!!!! HAGD

When you do your planks, are you doing a set on each side as well?

No. I just have been doing what they do & they have not done any side planks. Last night I just did one simple plank for half a minute. I only do on my elbows since it hurts my wrists too much. I did not do the more complicated planks they did last night as I was already suspecting that might be part of the problem.

Coming up on the one year anniversary of beginning my weight loss. Took me this long to figure out the proper answer to a question I am continually asked: What is your secret?

And you just leave us hanging?????? And the answer is _____________________?

Good morning. Happy Friday!!!!!! It has been a pretty busy week so far at work but I have managed to complete all my documentation at work. That makes for a good week. Just enough clients cancelled or did not show up to give me some time to get it done. When they all show up or one or more are in crisis it gets pretty hard to get it done. Still looking like weather will be okay for us to get the deck done. I do rather dread it but will be glad to have it finished.

Congrats!
I'll take a guess and say the answer is Discipline. It's way too easy to give up or just say "well one piece of this or that won't hurt". Being able to have self-control is a lot harder than it sounds.

Once you reach your goal, final goal that is, since most folks rethink and usually go even lower than the original goal, the new strategy will be maintaining the goal. Different than Weight Loss, so that's where a lot of folks slip back into their old bad ways.

I once read that when someone is "eating clean" its extremely difficult to put on weight, virtually impossible. You can try to over eat, but since the clean natural food is so high in fiber you'll just run to the bathroom.

Again, Congrats! You must feel so much better! Watch out Ladies!

You must have or acquire the desire and discipline to change your lifestyle.

Seems I have maintenance figured out. Problem is, I have 7 lbs to go to my goal of 200 LBS. I may try losing another 5-10 lbs just to maintain my weight below 200. That will probably leave me in size 34 pants.

This is no temporary diet. I can never again eat 4 pieces of pizza as a meal, lots of yogurt, milk shakes, frappicinos, frappes, stuff that is breaded and covered in gravy, lots of cake, and lots of beer.

I have learned the above items can be done in extreme moderation. I may have one milkshake a week, followed by a walk. McD's Frappes actually aid in keeping me "regular", so one a week is my limit. Haven't had beer in almost a year.

A "carb day" is actually a good thing to designate once you have reached your goal, if you still desire that stuff. I have no desire for beer now nor much of that crappy stuff I used to eat. Chicken fried steak, yuk!

Thanks all, and yes, I do notice ladies checking me out from time to time.

That's all that matters Jan. Progress is the right direction is positive progress.
